Lung Transplant

I am being tested at Emory in Atlanta next month to possibly become a lung transplant participant. Obviously I have mixed feelings on this. Are their any transplants out there that can tell me their stories. Thank you

Hello I'm Deb 66 yr. old with copd. i am going through the testing to get on the transplant list now. lots of work to do before getting on the list. rehab lots of shots NEED TO SEE DENTIST HAVE COLONOSKIP BONE DENSITY TEST THEN THEY HAVE YOU COME DOWN THERE FOR MORE TEST. I was there in April for a week to do them. then they send you home an send a letter to let you know what you have to do here. now i go down 2 days in June for a few test my 6 min. walk pdf. i s feel free to ask. i am going thru upmc a bout 4 shots to do yet. the shots you can only get one a month you cant mix them. i have 2 step shingle shot 2nd pnomona shot the 3rd covid shot an 2nd meningitis shot. it is a long process. i only have 14 % lung function left. it is hard to breathe but you keep pushing. any other question just feel free to ask. i am going thru upmc in Pittsburgh. breath easy my friend. lots of hugs..
