Nope. Isn’t that one of the signs of a possible covid infection? Hopefully, you still have extra tests and can make sure it’s not an asymptomatic case, @A MyCOPDTeam Member.

Take care of you. Hugs. Wednesday night, 28-JUN-23

It is a sign of COVID. Sometimes people with COPD have reported loss of taste and smell, but it's difficult to know whether that's COPD or aging.

A dry mouth can cause loss of Taste (and smell). Many of our medicines work by drying us out to decrease inflammations.

Loss of Taste or smell - along with any metallic sensations - could be signs of other things like an Infection. IF you are well hydrated before bedtime, this one is worth a chat with your Doc instead. Be well.

Hi that is a symptom of covid. When I got covid in 2022, my taste buds didn’t come back completely. 🤗
