Lung Volume Reduction Procedure
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m looking to hear from people who have had a lung volume reduction procedure that included bronchoscopic endobronchial valve insertion. Thank you.

DanDempsey, remember the story about the man who was on a rooftop escaping a flood? A man in a conoe came by and offered to rescue him but he said I’m waiting on God to rescue me. A man in a motorboat came next and offered to rescue him, he said no, I’m waiting for God to rescue me.
Finally as the water threatened to sweep the house away, a helecopter lowered a ladder for him but he declined the rescue because God was going to rescue him.
The man died as the house was being swept away.
When he went to heaven, he asked God why he wasn’t rescued?
God said, well, I sent you a canoe, a motorboat and a helicopter.
These tools we use to enable better breathing are because of God wanting what is best for our lives. Of course, it is always up to us to make the final decision.
Breathe easy.😊

I got into a clinical trial where they went. And shocked my lungs. It helped. I have information about. It but I don't know how to post it on here.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I have Researched that and heard the LVR works good at removing the Bad parts of the lungs and that helps with the Hyperinflation (Trapped air)and Bloating. Also lets the Healthy Lungs not have to work as hard because they don't have the Bad stuff keeping them from Functioning Better. I think it is a Minimally Invasive Procedure from what I read, You stay in the Hospital a few day's for Observation....

I've heard about Zephyr Valve, but I decided to Trust God for my healing. Sounds easy, right but it's Trusting God to Bless You with the Will to do your best everyday to do a little more each day. You will feel good about it while improving your Lung Compcity.. God Bless You in Your walk.

Oh yeah, No I'm not going to run in a Marathon but it sure helps with my quality of Life 😉

Wow Bunny, I just came on here to ask the same question. I am turned down for the amazing Zephyr Valve. Looking at and hoping for the same procedure. Keep me posted if anyone has had this. Wishing you the very best. 💗
