If the concentrator stopped, it’s supposed to trigger a very loud alarm. But, if you need more than that, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, check out this website hosted by the department of human services in Minnesota to give people a list of helpful options to consider, as well as a vendor list of where to find the items (if you can’t find similar info locally):

Hoping this info helps get you started. Hugs.

The alarm that the concentrator has is pretty loud. Any tech can set it off so you should be able to tell whether you'd notice it. Depending on your reliance on 02 at night, the lack of 02 might wake you up. My guess is that it's possible to rig a light instead of an oral alarm or as well as an oral alarm.

Excellent decision, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I hope that alarm gives you the peace of mind you’re seeking.

Thank you for your interest and comment; I can't hear the concentrator at all. That was was tried. The tech said I would probably awaken gasping for breath. Didn't think that would be something that I wanted to do so for under $10, I purchased an alarm and a light that are supposed to go off if the power goes off.
