Independence, MO

Has anyone got the Zephyr-Valve? If so is it working and is it worth it? I am very interested in it myself. Not sure if the VA will ok it or not. Thanks in advance. James
Hope everyone is doing good...

For people who qualify for the procedure, they have been relatively successful: some people have found they have really improved lung function and an increase in what they can do and how comfortable they are doing it; others not so much. You need to find a center that does the procedure and get evaluated to see if you qualify for it; not everyone does. If you do qualify you will have a chance to tak with the team who will do it and ask lots of questions: how many procedures do they do regularly, what are the potential problems (pneumonia dnd pneumothorax), how many people had those and did they recover, what happens if the procedure doesn't work, etc.
