Is There A Negative Correlation Between Taking Breo Ellipta And Having A Severe Immune Compromised Condition
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is Breo Ellipta safe to use with if one has permanent chronic neutropenia (low white blood cell count less than 500) The Breo Ellipta's drug profile on the web (www.drugs.com) says to "discuss this with your doctor". Unfortunately here in British Columbia there is a shortage of doctors so an answer is proving a challenge. Does anyone have a similar condition?

Thank you so much for your very kind offer to check with your GP ♥️ That would be so helpful. Thank you!!
Yes, my cough has gotten worse over the last month since taking Breo these past 6 months. But its hard to know if this is progression of COPD or silent GERD which I also have. Or whether its as a result of my chronic neutrepenia. It's all so confusing trying to find out the chicken/egg scenario. That's why I find the team and all the articles extremely helpful.
Thank you again for replying and also wishing you a good day today and for your tomorrow as well. x

I have taken Breo, will ask my GP on my next visit. Are you having any side effects or aggravation of your cough?
