Try putting them in the clothes dryer for about 10 minutes when they are new. Then stretch them out. You might have to do it a couple times but it works

@A MyCOPDTeam Member if you use swivel connectors it helps. I also use the purple tubing from Westmed on Amazon that lays much smoother the the usual green tubing, but it is not as bright as the green.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I know some people have warmed them up in the microwave, too.......not quite sure how you avoid melting them. I use Softhose: it's relatively expensive, but it works and doesn't kink at all.
