i have lost some of my lung capacity and function maybe from health declining {copd } or due to the fact that i stop walking and doing breathing exercising . if i start back exercising and walking is it possible to gain that lung capacity and fuction back or is it gone for good

You may not be able to improve your PFT results, but you can definitely improve your ability to function with exercise. Even if the numbers don't improve, if you can do more and be more comfortable doing it, that's improvement you can use!

It’s my understanding you can improve your lung Capacity when you continue to exercise regularly.
