I was in the clinical study for Trelegy (not knowing what type of dosage or the mix of, etc.), I was on Advair/Spiriva, which didn't work well (the reason I applied to the study of a new drug), the study drug was stopped mid test run as it was outperforming anything on the market. I was doing so well on it, but now that the trial was over and the drug had to go through the FDA, I had to go back to the Advair/Spiriva in which case I got worse. I changed lung doctors, too the U of I where the study was done. The doctors I got there were the same doctors who were the head of the drug study. Not knowing what I received in the study, they were able to find out my reaction to what I received, then put together two meds that were close to what is in Trelegy, until the new drug came on the market as they didn't know the name it would be given. When Trelegy came on the market (along with many other lung medications) with the great success it was having on others, I knew what my clinical study effects were put two and two together and knew that Trelegy was the drug I was giving (I can't prove it, but I know). I had my lunge doctors put me on Trelegy and I haven't looked back. Trelegy has seemed to slow down the lung destruction, yes, I have gotten worse, but that is the disease, as anyone with COPD would know. I not saying Trelegy will work for you, I told you what I have experienced with it. People keep telling me that "doing a trial test for a new drug could kill me". I told them, "I'm already dying, and if this can help with the fight against COPD, I'm ready at any cost. You see, everyone in my family has died from COPD, I lost my dad when I was 8, to COPD, and my mother, two sisters, and my brother all died from some type of COPD. My children and grandchildren have some type of lung issues, (I had my DNA done with no genetic contractions found). I hope you find this helpful. Jim

I use Trelegy and have for quite a while. I’ve had pretty good success with it. It’s 3 meds in one and it’s only once a day!

Trelegy is a three-in-one inhaler, meaning that you get all three medicines used in inhalers in one inhaler, once a day. I've used it for several years and it works for me. That being said, there's no guarantee that it will work for you. You need to try it and see how you do with it. If it works, great! If not, try something else.

Hi Sandy
I have been Spiriva and Relva and have just been prescribed Trelogy the advantage to this I only have to take one puff a day as it is a 3in 1 inhaler, I’m looking forward to it,
Sorry I can help further with this however we are all different so give it a try
Take care
