I used Mucinex24 and worked okay for awhile and then didn’t help after a few months so my doctor prescribed Roflumilast which was ok until I started to have nosebleeds. Then went to Native Remedies and got their mucus clear and it works very good for me.

I drink a lot of water which thins secretions That makes it easier to cough up I also use incentive spirometer I got online for about $5 and use every 4 hours Mucinex is good but doesn't help me much Also chest PT helps Cup hands and do to all 4 lung regions As a nurse who have done chest PT I taught my husband how to do this Also got a massager to help For me hydration works best and also decreased SOB

If the mucus problem is something that's just started in the last couple of days and not something that you experience most of the time, you may be in the beginning of an exacerbation. If you have an action pan that you've worked out with your doc, then do what it says. If you don't, call your doc and let them know what's going on so you can get treatment as soon as possible. Don't make the mistake of thinking you can "tough it out"; you can't, and trying to is one of the fastest ways I know of to get to use a bed in the ICU. One of the things you'll learn is that if you can nip these things in the bud, you're far better off than if you let them go. If you get really sick you can do more damage to your lungs and once it's done you can't undo it. So call your doc and get some advice about what to do.
