You can continue your exercise program in a whole variety of ways. PR should have taught you how to exercise, how to push yourself, how to breathe during exercise and given you the confidence to exercise pretty much anywhere. You can simply do it at home by walking in your neighborhood and purchasing some weight bands or hand weights, depending on what you're comfortable with. I used a 24 hour gym for several years. I've also joined a regular gym and worked with a trainer. Because I traveled a lot, I often used the gyms in both small and large hotels: some were better equipped than my gym and others had a treadmill and a bike and that was it. I've used 02 in many of them and no one ever asked a question. There are lots of ways to do this.
Hey, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, check out www.copdfoundation.org and find COPD pocket consultant guide. It will have all kinds of exercises for your rehab at home. I found it quite useful, and it's free. Good luck and breathe easy
I don't think rehab helped me much. I still don't get out. And I am in a constant state of panic. I've tried most everything not much helps. I'm glad it helped you KayStone2.
