Airochamber Sometimes Sings When Taking Medicine
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have 3 inhalers and I use an aero chamber to take the medicine.
The breztri and ventolin are fine, but the atrovent sometimes ‘sings’ when I inhale the medication. Is there a particular reason why? Too fast, too slow?

Probably. The whole idea of using the chamber is to prevent any of the medication dose from being lost during your inhale pattern. The medication still (mostly) stays inside the chamber in case you have a false start or breathe too forcefully. The goal is to get as much in and as deeply into the lungs as possible without pausing or double-breathing while doing so.

IF the written instructions don't help to improve the dosing method for you, there is probably a YouTube video that can help demonstrate the proper use for your med. be Well.

Inhaling too fast; you need a slow, steady inhale to avoid that singing.
