That's a cute name too @A MyCOPDTeam Member. They do waddle and they wiggle their little tails.

My favorite - WATER, H2O. it has Oxygen in IT. Staying hydrated also helps keep the blood circulation regular. That how the "Finger-thingy" (spO2 meter) knows your"saturation level". Take a reading (while seated) about 10 mins before and after a glass of water to prove to yourself.

How special is that. I had a duck that followed me everywhere I went when I was kid. I called him duck-duck!

Hi Denise. The doctor determines (and the INS Company approves) OXYGEN use based on a series of tests which measures your O2 levels doing various things, particularly while you are active.

The six-Minute Walk is one common test. Unless you have been recently hospitalized, there are other things which may help you increase your stamina and Oxygen Saturation and help hold things at bay. Pulmonary Rehab may be another option as well. Discuss these with your Doc and let her help create a plan for you.

Getting approved for Oxygen is usually a One-way street, indeed.
