Anyone have experience in nebulizing with Acetylcysteine (mucomyst) for breaking up mucus?

Water is thing I heavily rely on for thick mucus. Water absolutely thins the mucus so i can expelled it and breath freely.

Thanks for sharing. We will try nebulizing for my brother who fights the mucus. The Doctor voiced nebulizing with the Albuterol before the Acetylcysteine.

I use it with my nebulizer, comes in vials of 30ml @10% get 15 doses. 1 for each treatment with a vial of nebulizer juice. Seems to help, with 1200mg mucinex 2x a day, loosens the flem so you can move it up and out. My flem is like silicone. Going to add 600mg NAC once a day( pills form of Acetylcysteine)
