My Dr. & my pharmacy did not want me to take it but my lung Dr. wanted me to take it. I take it every other day.
Take Probiotics instead!!
ps. Feeling tired is also a sign of Dehydration.

I have on a few occasions that we should nt take antibiotics when we have COPD. When I wAs in hospital with a chest infection and exasperation I was given excessive amounts of antibiotics to stop the infection. I would like to know why people are saying we shouldn't take them
Your doctor is quite correct about too much of the Levaquin. Your body will built up an immunity to it after while. Doxycycline is a good sub for it.
If you don’t have a chest infection, has anyone taken steroids on their own . Maybe just for a boost ?

I had what I though was a flair up last month. My Dr sent out my Antibiotics and still wound up in the ER three days later. Only to find out it was an exacerbation. After I finished my days of antibiotics I have been breathing better. I mean really better. My average O2 levels we 90-91 before. They are staying up in the 96-99 range now. That is without oxygen. I may drop to 91-92 walking but only temporarily.

You may have been harbouring an inflammation in your lungs that hadn't been picked up.
What are symptoms that seemed different from just average upper respiratory infection? What were your treatments for it? 🤷🏻♀️
I live in Canada and I really think I had RSV last year. There is a vaccine available but the cost is prohibitive for me. I wish my dr would give me a rescue pack.
