Lung volume reduction surgery and COPD

I had Lvrs. Last year on my right lung took most
my lung away. But luckily the rest works a lot better breathing easier xx

Hi, i seem to have a new sleep schedule where I cant sleep until 4-6 am and then wake around noon. I still go to bed around 11, don’t relish sitting in living room until sleepy 6 hours later.

Knowledge Of Lung Volume Reduction Surgury

i am just wondering if anyone has heard of LVRS Lung Volume Reduction Surgury
it is when they remove 30 percent of scar tissue from the lungs--better then transplant
i am thinking of haveing this surgury...i know it is still dangerous but tired of being so short of breath and coughing
the last week it has been real tough.

How Has Everyone Been?

How is everyone been doing? I have been away from here for quite a while. I hope everyone is hanging tough. I am doing pretty well since I had surgery. Feels good to feel better. I did go up to Houston to Methodist Hospital. I had lung reduction surgery. It's no joke! Yet, here I am and I give all the glory to God and the best doctors in the world.
