Have any of you heard of the Zephyr Value Procedure for COPD and emphysema patients??
It’s a new procedure being done., look it up and you might want to consider it., I got an appointment the 7th of April to see if I’m a candidate., I have to drive 140 miles one way to where they are doing the procedure., but it might be worth it.,
Sandy, I go tomorrow for test and aptm with a Dr that specializes in putting the value in., You have to ask your Dr about it., they don’t tell you., I did!!!!
I am really having problems in getting to the doctors and getting my medicines can someone please tell me where can I go to get help.My husband and I are really on a fix income at this time.

I feel better but I don’t feel like I am up to a walk/breathing test. Should I wait to hopefully feel better? Prior to the infection or whatever I had; thought I… read more
Thank you all for your responses to my questions, it's given me some things to think about and get focused on. I will try to make my appointment this week. Thanks again.
I take Spiriva, Symbicort, Albuterol and Flonase. I haven't been taking them due to costs. When I had my checkup last week, my FEV1 was at 85% compared to in the 70's when I was on them. What might be a reason for this?
I totally agree my once a day inhaler is very costly.
I was just curious as to whether COPD showed on X-rays.
No most of the time .your flare ups will be because of stuff like pneumonia.colds stuff like that and xrays will show that and it's a way of them ruling out all the bad stuff cancer and stuff .
So did you ever get your stomach checked out @A MyCOPDTeam Member? I hope whatever was wrong is better now. What was wrong, if you don't mind telling me.
How must do people pay around the world for meds?£€$
