Why is there so little discussion here of the side effects and dangers of both short and long term from the use of inhalers or even long term oxygen therapy? For example, did any doctor tell you that the use of Spiriva Respimat doubles the risk of cardiac arrest? I had my worst flare up on the first day of use. And I have stopped using ipraproprium bromide (Atrovent/Berodual) because after a couple of uses I get feelings of extreme weakness accompanied… read more
Has anyone used Trelegy Ellipta? I have tried Anoro which didn't work and currently using Symbicort which isn't working well either. In fact if I use Ipratropium/Albuterol 2X a day via Nebulizer it works better than Symicort...my plan will not cover Spiriva (Medicare D)...so, any experiences with Trelegy?
I had to use my Nebulizer during the night. When I got up chest felt a lot of pressure, breathing was quite difficult, I'm wheezing a lot, coughing often but not bringing much up. I used my Advair and Spiriva, then the nebulizer. Every 5 minutes or so I have a coughing spell sometimes I bring up a little mucus. I feel like breathing irritates my upper chest and makes me cough. Which one do most take first? Any advantage of one over the other? Or does it make any difference?
Has anyone tried any natural methods for your COPD? If so, please let me know if any have worked at all please. I am currently on Spiriva and Symbicort and the out of pocket costs are ridiculous. Also the side effects on the Symbicort are not making me feel so hot. The symbicort also caused me to have severe anxiety and out of control eating issues. Is this normal? I mean, truly, I want to eat 24-7 and I never eat over 2000 calories a day. This is insane.
HI EVERYONE, i am currently on symbicort 160 and spiriva. i cannot see any help from the spiriva what so ever. i have been on many medications and the dr cant seem to find the right combination. i wanted to know if you could take breo and symbicort together? i have been on symbicort and breo both and they seem to help but are not enough by thereself. thanks for any information you can offer.
I used Canada drugs for several years because they saved me about %50 on my drugs (Spiriva and Advair) now the U.S. Justice department stopped that and now Spiriva is no allowed by medicare, what is a good alternative?
