@A MyCOPDTeam Member, if your pulmonologist isn’t meeting your needs, maybe it’s time to find a new one? There’s nothing stopping you from getting a second opinion. Good luck !
How is everyone been doing? I have been away from here for quite a while. I hope everyone is hanging tough. I am doing pretty well since I had surgery. Feels good to feel better. Great to hear your going full straight ahead, keep on keeping on!
If you have had zepher valve surgery, would you be will to share your experience and whether it has really helped? Thank you.
I 'am going to look into getting Zephyr valves to see if it can possibly enable me to walk more than 2-3 miles a day , has anyone tried them? If so what is positive and negative about them? All responses will be cherished.
Try drinking a minimum of 4 glasses of water daily to dilute the mucus. It really does help. Cheap too LOL
Have any of you heard of the Zephyr Value Procedure for COPD and emphysema patients??
It’s a new procedure being done., look it up and you might want to consider it., I got an appointment the 7th of April to see if I’m a candidate., I have to drive 140 miles one way to where they are doing the procedure., but it might be worth it.,
Sandy, I go tomorrow for test and aptm with a Dr that specializes in putting the value in., You have to ask your Dr about it., they don’t tell you., I did!!!!
