Well done Bonnie. You show me I should be doing more to help myself.
Two months ago COPD diagnosted. Fev1 60%, TIFF 51%. Yesterday FEV1 80%, TIFF 59%. Both times FEV was over 110%.
Is it possible COPB get well?
In the beginning, doctors explained to me that the situation could not be better…
First diagnosis was COPD, now he changed to COPD/ASTMA, but he said, he is not sure…
??????
It has a lot to do with the disease itself

Is there anyone here that still smokes after being diagnosed. I am looking for some support to quit. I have attempted it several times since my diagnoses and have failed terribly. The patches, gum, vape pens and even cold turkey (which I wouldn't recommend)! The Doctor won't put me on Chantix because I suffer from Severe Major Depression and the side effects wouldn't be good for me!!! Two weeks ago I had an exacerbation and the E.R doctor ordered chest x-ray.s He came back after reading them… read more

Was diagnosed with COPD and saw respiratory Doctor like once and they just never reschedule . My daughter has asked if I’d like to go on a 3 day trip to see Santa In Lapland. I have moderate Copd which is sometimes worsened by the cold, however it’s a ‘dry’ type of cold and I wondered if anyone had any experience/advice to share? The temperature averages -15, thermals are provided but as the inspired air will be very cold am I just asking for trouble by going? X
Thank you all so much for taking the trouble to reply. (It’s the first time I’ve posted ). Some good advice which has been taken on board.
Hope everyone is having a good day today. X
Hi all
I am new here and really, not actually even fully diagnosed with full blown COPD yet
I went to my doctors, first time in over 10yrs, for a "well man" medical and my doctor "suspects" I may have mild COPD.

Invest in Bambillo bedding. Bamboo cotton sheets, pillowcases, and a Bambillo undersheet topper, or a merino wool undersheet topper with electric blanket. They're very good investments!
Help me I walk very slow. Any walking is better than no walking and the more I walk faster I can get is not a real fast pace, but it’s better than crawling peace be with you at this time of year.
i am at 41 bmi so i been read the disadvanges associated with copd at this weight howevere i also read that if you loose too much weight with copd . its also not good. so what weight, bmi , is best
BMI is just a calculation from a weigh-in that can be used a marker. Your doctor should advise which is more important for YOU in managing COPD along with any other health issues. After working with… read more
