I never cough or have a lot of crap in my lungs, I have always wondered why?

I rarely cough, now when I was smoking I coughed a LOT, but after I quit and my lungs cleared up, I rarely get sick, and I rarely cough, I think the cough depends on the person's makeup

Gayle, I too had a terrible cough when smoking and after quitting I really no longer am bothered with a cough.

I don't either. Does that ake it worse or does it even matter .

I had a cough that lasted about 2 years, it was my blood pressure meds (lasenapril)
