I have the same problem....my doctor said to take mucinex. I've been taking it but it really does not seem to be helping so next time I see him I'm going to discuss other options. My lungs are clear when I feel my throat is full of mucus so I know exactly what you're talking about. It also seems that I need to clear my throat more when I'm eating.

Boy, just doing the chicken dance would end it for me..... Grin... I can't even wash my face good with a rag, that I'm breathless... They do have a machine that rattles a steel ball and it flutters, gives a bit of relief. I've been known to use a vibrating machine at times on my back to help... I've found taking the maralax, and lots of water, helps more in my case.. I had to increase my water intake to 5 bottles of water a day to keep it from being to thick,,,,, it's helped me,,, God bless

I know this is going to sound crazy but put your arms up like you are doing the chicken dance and flap your arms and cough at the same time it clears congestion
