Definitely not within prescription limitations! As to whether it will actually hurt you, that probably depends a bit on you. Many people experience a higher heart rate when they take Ventolin, which is basically albuterol under a fancy name. If you do, then the high heart rate could be really troublesome and lead to other issues, such as arrhythmia, something most people would just as soon avoid. It's not something I'd do deliberately, for sure. If you're using it because you're having trouble breathing, get yourself to your doc or to an ER where you can be treated.

If you need to take 12 puffs of your inhalerinhaler in one go you need to ask your doc for a stronger one

I carry Ventolin in my handbag in case of need. I don't overuse it - just two puffs at a time, especially when I wake up gasping at night.

Never done 12, but do 6 if I am really bad, alth dr. Tells me I can repeat that in about an hr, it makes me dizzy, but, yes it does act like neb.
