A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I get leg cramps at night, during the day I get hand, leg and toe cramps, Anybody else experience this and is there anything I can do to alleviate them.

the easiest thing that I have found is I slip a bar of soap, (I use the small bars) either under the fitted sheet on my bed or in a pocket on my sweat pants. If it gets dried up or quits working just shave it down and it will stop the cramping again. I know this sounds weird but if you google soap for cramps you can read about it.

My doctor has me on muscle relaxers during the day if needed. I have cramps and restless leg syndrome, Clonazpam 2 mg tablets have really helped me.

I would get them so I started taking vitamin B 12 shots. Has made a big difference. Dr. Can check your vitamin levels with blood test. I have them every 6 weeks. If I go longer I notice the cramps in my feet get worse again. Hope this is helpful.

It comes in a plastic container and looks like blue goo It dont smell so good but i found out if im having cramps i rub it up and down my legs and feet and then lie back down and be still as much as possible and in a few minutes it will relieve it .
