Since On COPD Meds, Has Anyone Had A Nose Bleed?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a nose bleed a few days ago and this morning, when I blew my nose, there was blood in both nostrils. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this. I also have sleep apnea and on a cpap at night.

I was experiencing the nosebleeds and my O2
Company told me to use Ayr in each nostril as often as needed. It’s works like a charm ! I haven’t had a nosebleed in 7 mo. You can buy it at Walmart. It’s cheap and I use the tube of gel .

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I'm on oxygen at night ! I was told to use a little water soluble lubricant on my pinky to put in my nose to keep it from drying out & nose bleeds & it works !

why are you letting it run out of water. Keep a gallon jug of sterile water beside it....Keep it filled to the max line. You will stop this madness. Take care of yourself girl.....Hope you've had an awesome day....

I have some nosebleed when I blow my nose. My daughter is a nurse and she said it is just tissue from your nose drying out. Nothing to worry about.

I too think the use of oxygen dries out the nasal tissue so it is easy to see a bit of blood if I blow my nose too hard !
