If you want to fund COPD research, join the COPD Foundation (www.copefoundation.org) and join the fight. You can donate to the Foundation and earmark your donation for research. The Foundation partners with many other entities to fund millions of dollars of research each year. Pharma research is where you can participate as a guinea pig; with the Foundation, you get to be part of the basic research that's needed to help find a cure.

In my opinion, Big Pharma is NEVER going to do any research that is going to lower the price of their inhalers. This week I spent $1,400 dollars on a three month supply of Symbicort and Spiriva. Alll drugs in the USA are over priced.

all l can say if theres no cure then our meds should NOT cost so much

i am getting ready to sign up with www.drugmart. to see if they can help with the cost of my meds,Canada drugs no longer do it but they gave me www.drugmart.com. theres also www.Optima.com
