My Taste Buds Have Gone
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Have my taste buds gone because of the COPD food has no taste. I gave up smoking 2 years ago?

Yes, Deb57, I do rinse my mouth after using the inhalers. Thanks for the tip. I was also told to hold my nose while inhaling. I never realized that I was also breathing in through my nose not just my mouth. I wish I had been told this when I was first using them.

Taste buds tend to go as we get older.....check with your doc, but I don't think this has anything to do with COPD.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member, that is very interesting about holding your nose while inhaling. Was that hard to learn? I'm sure going to try it.

Are you sure it's your lungs? I've had cramps too in that area, traveled around to my back. Couple of docs guessed gall bladder, and test showed it was distended, but not the source of my problem. It was so weird, and I would lie in bed and moan, but I always got alright again; and here it would come back in a few months. Crazy. I would say, talk to your doctor. Hugs
