If you haven't talked with your doc about Pulmonary Rehab, please do. That's a great place to learn a lot about COPD and how to manage and control it instead of letting it manage and control you. Breathing techniques are important, and you'll learn them there, but you'll also learn how to exercise and build your strength and endurance, which is just as important. If you don't have a pulmonologist, you need to see one. You wouldn't let your family doc treat your heart condition, and you shouldn't expect him to adequately treat your lung condition either.

with out using the inhaler what can I do when breathing occur?

Your breathing is really important. It can strengthen your lungs and teach you to breathe easier. Welcome to our group.
