Whether any med works for you depends on how you react to it. There are people who have used Trelegy and done very well with it, and others, like those of you who just wrote it who find it doesn't work as well for them. You really have to try to see what works for you. For those folks who find it works well for them, it's great; others not so well. The chemical makeups of each of the LABAs, LAMAs and ICSs are different for each manufacturer.
I have used Trelegy for probably at least 2 years, and it seems that the longer I use it the better I feel. I also use oxygen therapy. My lung function appears to be improved and I have had no exacerbations. My ability to do activities of daily living and many more things has improved as has my overall stamina. Before Trelegy I had used Symbicort, Incruse, Spiriva, and Breo with varying degrees of success.
Ive been on Trelogy for a while now ...haven't noticed a lot of difference apart from when its coming to the end of the 30 days it seems to be a lot stronger and niggle the back of my throat
I have blood pressure issuses and heart issues so can't use this
I have been on Symbicort and Spiriva for about 5 years. My new pulmonologist put me on trelegy. I tried it for a month. I felt out of breath by noon time. It did not work for me as well as the combo of spiriva and symbicort. So, I have not been back yet to the new pulmonologist, but I did go back to the symbicort and spiriva and breathing is better.
