Any experience with both? Without regard to cost or coverage, which worked best for you?
Symbicort is a bronchodilator combined with an inhaled steroid (LABA with an ICS); Spiriva (LAMA) is a bronchodilator that targets different areas then Symbicort in the lungs. They are different meds often prescribed together, Which meds work best for you are the ones you determine work best for you. We all react so differently to various chemicals that you really have to try the combinations for yourself. For instance, I don't respond well to Spiriva and most of the LAMAs if I take them individually. Just about everyone I know had really good luck with Spiriva and I don't respond well at all (tried three times over the last 15 years and it consistently makes my breathing worse). I have had good luck with Trelegy, which has a LAMA, a LABA and an ICS all in one. Go figure! It really just depends on the mix of chemicals in the med.
Yes i had both and liked them now on trilgy and Albuterol sulfate
