I do not take prednisone of a daily basis; however, there are people who find that a daily low dose helps them tremendously. I know people who take between 1 and 5 mgs daily who function much better because of the prednisone. The only way to know if it will help you is to try it.

I take 5mg Prednisone daily. At one point in time was on 60mg for close to a year.
No noticeable side effects with 5mg. 60mg was a nightmare!

When I went to Fisetin after meals I was able to stop Prednisone and still control all the phlegm I get, but I still have it available in case I get a significant return of bronchitis or bronchiectasis.
