I'm staying with my daughter and she doesn't understand anything about COPD she thinks I'm just lazy so she kinda means. I would like a place of my own for me and my son who helps take care of me
Another way would be to google your county's social services
Most counties have social service offices that can help with problems like this one. I'd check the blue government offices section of the phone book,
I was going to suggest the phone book too @A MyCOPDTeam Member, but our city hasn't published a phone book for about 10 years and I didn't know if all cities did that or just ours. Good suggestion though.
Talk to your clergyman or find out somehow if you have a County program or Housing program in your city. Your clergyman would be able to give you some suggestions as to where to look for housing. In my city we have a Housing Authority that finds homes for those in need. I don't know how old your son is, but maybe he could go to your Courthouse and see which department might handle housing, or you could if you are able to get around. I'm sorry I didn't read your story if you wrote one before i answered this, but maybe something I said will help. Welcome to the group @A MyCOPDTeam Member!
