Depression and anxiety are common among people with chronic conditions, and COPD is definitely one of those. Exercise is certainly an antidote that works.Meds can also help, but I strongly believe in learning to manage your anxiety and depression with the help of a good cognitive behavioral therapist. Our friend the penguin has the right idea, no matter how angry he is about it.
