I use an Aerobika that was given to me when I had a pulmonary function test a few years ago. I haven't used it with my nebulizer, but checked and it would work. I just checked Amazon and they don't appear to have it, but I did find a flutter device, Portex Acappela D4, in green for $69.99. It looks just like the one used in the video.

I got mine when I explained to my pulmonologist I was having a hard time coughing up some of the thick phlegm. He gave me a device right there in the office. No charge. It is an "AerobikA". I mostly use it when I am having a hard time coughing up some phlegm that is stuck in an airway. [You know we all have had them, knowing it needs to come out and even makes a whistling sound when you breathe.] It is hard to get enough air behind it to do the huffing cough and get them out.
Well the doctor explained doing 4 or8 breaths though the device will help loosen the phlegm up and allow me to clear it out.
You can also hook it up to your nebulizer but thus far I use it all by it self.

So next visit just ask the dr for it or call his office I bet he could have one sent out.

Hi. It's Christine from Colorado. I've been reading the replies and have learned things already. Right now I use a Dulera inhaler and my rescue inhaler. That's it, I have a hard time with my daily activities and dream of walking with my dogs again. I spend my days with them and my 4 cats. I know pet hair and dander can effect my breathing and try to keep on top of that. I can't give up my animals. I ride a stationery bike 15 minutes a couple times a day but walking any distance is difficult. I'm on disability for another condition so I am home alone a lot and it's helpful to hear from others. Thank you. I never heard of this flutter device but it sounds like something I need to look into.
