About Taking OFEV
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am going to start taking a pill named OFEV and the directions to take this medicine are that produce diarrhea, nausea, vomiting among other
things. Someone in this group takes this medicine and tell me how they are doing with it.

Yes, I have IPF and started taking the OFEV 4 days ago and no side effects so after 4 days I don't think I will have any.

It seems like most of the medication we take seem to cause those problems. First off. I just took a stress test last Thursday and failed horribly didn;t hardly make it to the room my O2 level was 56. then with my oxygen on it went to 69 so needless to say I failed. My doctor and I had a long talk and he told me Nonie I have a new inhaler and it is only taken once a day he asked me if I would try it. now keep in mind every time I went out I would have to use a scooter and still couldn't stand for many reasons of getting out of breath . So from all of this, it was easier to just stay home. I no longer walked through our woods or walking of any kind. So I want to tell you for being on this medication for one week I can't believe what I have done. I went to Lowes with my son and walked all around there not getting out of breath. Then on to CVS walking around in there and THEN on to winn Dixie going all over this store I am so elated that I can do all of this once again, I am just Thanking Jesus for it all and I give him all the praise and glory. Ask your Dr. about ANORO to see if you can try it. I just know I am so thankful. I just got home from walking all over Hobby Lobby and then we went to dinner . I'm just loving Life. I hope I have helped someone. Hug's Nonie

I am so happy for you .. I am doing well on my new inhaler also for a week and a half I haven't used a scooter once in the stores and even went to a fishing tournament with my husband I feel like I have been given a new life . I thank God for that and give him all the glory. I pray that you continue to do well.
