I Am Having A Fatigue Problem Daily. I Get At Least 9 Hours Of Sleep Per Night But Feel Really Sleepy.
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Mon thru Friday I start out with a 1+ hour workout. 1/2 hour on treadmill which gets me a little over a mile. The to the weight room for upper body and legs on various machines. I come home have breakfast and then take my meds. Within one hour it feel sleepy and if I don't keep moving throughout the day it does not go away unless I take a nap. I do not which to get into this habit. Any ideas to get rid of the fatigue?

I don't go to bed until about 11:00 p.m. or 12:00, and often wake up at about 2:30 or 3:00. Sometimes I read for awhile, and eat a breakfast bar or take some melatonin. If I'm coughing a lot, I take some mucinex even though I always do a breathing treatment with a nebulizer and a saline solution every morning and night. Working at staying healthy and alive is my new job now-a-days and it's full time. Thanks to everyone for sharing their information. It's really helpful and keeps me from feeling so alone in this situation.

Early stage COPD but sleep long at night and can sleep 2 to 3 hours in afternoon. I seem to be doing better after taking a COPD REhab course.

A CPAP machine helps you breathe at night when you sleep because I stop breathing so the air is forced into your lungs I also have to take my oxygen concentrator hose and hook it up to the CPAP so now I have air plus I have oxygen

Hi. I always use to get 9 hrs sleep and always felt tired. I now get 6-7 hrs and have more energy. Too much sleep can make you tired. You can always take a nap during day. Breath easy. God bless
