Use the nebulizer according to the doc's prescription. Don't exceed what the doc ordered. Many people use them daily and some several times a day, depending on what the med is and what the prescription says. Some feel that they get more relief from the nebulizer than from inhalers with the same med.

Hi I do use a nebulizer, Jean is correct don't use it more often than the doctor prescribes. My doctor prescribes albuterol up to 4 times a day as needed. I can take it fewer times but not more than the 4 times a day. It has most definitely helped my symptoms, it is easier for me than a rescue inhaler, I have a difficult time using the rescue inhaler properly, so the nebulizer helps me to use my medicine the way it is intended.
