While I agree about speaking with your doctor as part of taking any dietary supplements, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, the dosage limitations can vary by manufacturer, so I would also double check the manufacturer’s guidelines on every bottle and start out with the lowest dosage of any supplements.

I don’t take B12 (which is usually given in an injection vs a pill for the most effective method of use).

I do the Mullein, though, and use the Solaray brand at 2 capsules a day or 660 mg total. In my case, I find the mullein cuts my mucus build up and congestion / coughing as part of my overall lung health.

Hope this answer helps.

Ok before I answer this I want it to be clear; **you should always ask/inform your doctor before using any vitamins, supplements, or herbs.

I drink a cup or two of mullein tea a day. or if I am out of the tea I will add the tincture to my coffee.
The vitamin B12 I only take when I am feeling down or lack of energy. Normally as I am recovering from a bad airway. A good Mediterranean diet will cover it nicely.
I do take vitamins D, calcium, and magnesium also because I am on a maintenance dose of prednisone. I believe they help my lungs also. I also take vitamins E for my dry skin and have noticed less bruising on my arms.
I also will drink rosemary or thyme tea from time to time.

That is just me, I am sure others actually have other herbs that work for them. Marshmallow root never works for me. My doctors all okayed them.

Hello @A MyCOPDTeam Member, I drink a tea that is something I get from a local herb store. Natural dried leaves that I steep in a tea pot for about 15-20 mins for best results. I also have the tincture of mullein that is 333 mg per dose. 30 drops may sound like a lot but it really isn't. Mix with POM juice and drink like a shot. Quick and tasty 😃 My doctor started me on B12 since my blood work showed it a bit low to go with my daily vitamin supplement. He put me at 1000 mcg. 10.6.26
