if you want to know how to keep your nasal passages open, you can always try the OTC things that are available, but I'd suggest seeing an ENT doc and following their advice. BTW, how you inhale for PLB doesn't matter. I know they say in through your nose, out through your mouth, but how you inhale is irrelevant. It doesn't matter. The only thing that's critical about PLB is out through your mouth with pursed lips to create the back pressure that lets you do a longer exhale.

I have blocked sinuses so I used my humidifier sometimes and it helps if the air is dry also I used a saline solution and Flonase but helps

is there a good long lasting inhaler medicine that does not have the side effects of a stuffy nose. ? the doctor put me on trelegy because my lung function numbers was down the last time i took the breathing test . i think trelegy has 3 meds in one puff

Rolland, I think if you don't go quite so deep, you'll find that the antimuscarinics target muscarinic receptors and the beta agonists target the adrenergic receptors. The antimuscarinics are the LAMAs and the Beta agonists are the LABAs. Both are bronchodilators.

I think the issues with antimuscarinics have been fairly well established, but have been shown to be less concerning for respiratory illnesses, probably because the meds are inhaled into the lungs. The inhaled muscarinics don't get nearly the publicity that others do.
