Not sure if this will work for me.
Been a member on here for a while but I’m an ant social lol. I have had COPD for about 7yrs. I am on 2 inhalers plus tablets, get out of breathe very easily. Drives me mad but it is what it is.
It helped me. it made my billfold lighter.
I can do much more with a O2 cylinder then i can at home with my concentrator. With bottles I can go for walks and even shopping, but at home with the concentrator my O2 drops to 80's just walking to kitchen. My bottle I set on 5 liters and concentrator is set on 7 liters. The only time my concentrator seems to work for me is when it is hooked up to my Trilogy, amd of course I am always resting then. Anyone else notice a difference. They tested the machine and said it was fine??😵😵
Thanks, never knew that, makes more sense now
Is number 3 setting on an oxygen concentrator high?
the numbers usually correspond to litres per minute so setting 3 is 3 LPM
Hello Elaine
I use a Philips Mini Portable Oxygen Concentrator (1.5 ltrs pm to 5ltrs pm) with capacity for 2hrs and 4 hrs battery capacity running time at 3litres per minute on pulse rate. I use it… read more
I've just been diagnosed as needing oxygen for exercise from my walk tests at UCSF Pulmonary. Even though my Medicare primary and Anthum secondary insurance. I couldn't get the state of the art equipment like Inogen creates. I feel that it's worthy expense to get the best equipment since I can afford it. I'm thinking to get their bundled package with a home unit that I can use on ac and my c-Pap and also the G3 for portable use. Does anyone have feedback about this equiment or plan. To be… read more

Been looking at my Oxygen % on oxymeter and noticed when i'm on home unit with water i seem to have a lower O2 Level. So i took water off and watched my oxygen levels . Definitely went up 2 % or more without water. Looks like feeding the oxygen through the water bottle pulls some oxygen out of the flow. Btw i'm on 6 liters.
You can use the water bottle tube with the main tube cut so thst the oxygen coming out only aereates the top of the water. You will still get some moisture just not as much as the tube going to the… read more
Looking back at the responses, @A MyCOPDTeam Member had great answers. At pulmonary rehab I'm a bit of a joke. My hands always seem to be cold and getting an O2 reading a challenge. Back to the… read more
Wondering what determines what setting level that you would use? I have always been on 2, set it on 3 if I move around. Sometimes I wonder if I need to go higher. Just sitting I am fine it's the moving around that gets me.
I’ve gotten different answers from the doctor, the RT and the oxygen technician😁! My doctor said on 3 all the time, the tech said on 3 15 hours a day and the RT said move it to 2 or take it off when… read more
