Is there anyone here that still smokes after being diagnosed. I am looking for some support to quit. I have attempted it several times since my diagnoses and have failed terribly. The patches, gum, vape pens and even cold turkey (which I wouldn't recommend)! I smell smoke, it irritates my nose and throat. My husband doesn't notice it. Am I crazy, or can we be affected by odors that others don't notice? I use air purifiers. The one in the bedroom has helped greatly, but the one in the living room must not be big enough, because I still notice it.

I went from 222# to 135# due to energy required to eat, breathe etc. Tried Boost, eating high caloric small meals several times a day just to maintain what my weight is now.

I don't know what it means, but pulmonary told me I was in stage 4 and if I don't quit smoking and use a c pap at night that I would die in 6 months. Well they gave me a trilogy machine and it's up to me to quit cigs. Not so hard to quit. So far it's been impossible to stay quit. I stay so depressed. This disease has control of what I can do now. I have a gas stove so have purchased an induction hot plate which is much safer. I also use an electric grill and an air fryer.
